Historic village walk (45 min)

Åsen’s fascinating history stretches back to the Bronze Age. During the tour, a guide will take you on a journey through the last century of the village’s history through stories and places. Along the way you will visit Tekla’s House, preserved in its original state, where you can experience how Tekla lived without electricity and running water from the time she was a young girl until she passed away at over 80 years old.
