Historical Village Walk (45 min)
The history of Åsen dates back to the Bronze Age, but on this tour, the guide will take you on a journey through the village’s last century, telling stories and visiting places that have shaped the village into what it is today. We will visit Tekla’s House, which is preserved in its original condition. Tekla lived here without electricity or running water from the time she was a young girl until she became the village’s last inhabitant in the late 1980s.
