At Åsen, we invite you to explore a world of flavors. Our pride lies in our own products, such as the Swedish ostkaka, which is a favorite year-round. For those who crave the taste of farm life, we also offer meat boxes filled with fresh, locally produced meat. Our meat production is local and carefully managed, with animals raised in a natural environment.
Åsen’s Meat Boxes
At Åsens By, we produce beef and lamb on a small scale with great care. The animals are raised in a natural and slow environment, roaming large and hilly pastures, and they eat only pesticide-free grass, which results in flavorful, herb-infused meat of the highest quality.
We sell the meat in the form of meat boxes, as cuts and processed products in the Farm Shop, and as prepared meals in Åsens Pantry and Café. We typically sell beef and lamb boxes twice a year, in the spring and autumn. Åsens ostkaka
Baking Swedish cheesecake is all about chemistry, love, and craftsmanship. Here at Åsens By, we bake traditional Småland-style cheesecake using milk from the neighboring village. You can enjoy the cheesecake in the café or purchase it to take home from the Farm Shop.
